Since its launch in 1998, Just The Right Shoe has evolved from a collection of 18 shoes to a complete visual representation of changing fashions throughout history.

The Miniature Shoe Box

Not many people realise at first, but the box that Just The Right Shoe is packaged in is a miniature version of a regular shoe box! The boxes have changed over time, and vary according to the theme of the shoe.

Your Destiny might have been a romantic evening out at a fine restaurant, when a lady wore the original models for this miniature shoe. The glitter of pearlized leather at both ends of the sole, and sliding ever so sensually over the instep, is accented by the silvertone chain that runs from a central faux gem, to each side of the sole. A girl might have strolled down the packed wet sand at the edge of a Hawaiian beach in an original model of this Aloha’oe miniature shoe. Sumptuous tropical sea colors of blue and green fill the heel and foot strap, then flow gently as the tide into the clear sole. Great gift for the shoe fancier. It was a smart woman with a taste for the Oriental influence of style, who wore something like these Smart Cookie miniature shoes. The solid, black platform sole is edged in red, and covered in a red Oriental patterned cloth. Knotted ties resembling the paper fortunes from cookies were designed to slip over the heel and instep, with a cookie perched on the thong that slipped between her toes.
