HATHI - INDIAN ELEPHANT

The sultry, humid heat clung to the tropical forests of Kerala painting a sheen of condensation upon the lush Indian landscape. The Asian elephant foraged for food and thick wrinkled skin, the colour of old leather books, swayed from side to side as she searched out the youngest shoots. Small fam shaped ears flapped, creating a whisper-like breeze in the still air. Reaching up into the shady cover of the Choola tree she soiled her snake-like trunk around its furthermost branches, the wood splintering and tearing as she pulled it free. The sweetest branches were the hardest to reach.

Hidden Animlas: Dhole (Asian red Dog), yellow throated Marten, long tailed skink, moonrat, axis deer.

A Chill wind blew across the drifting snow, ruffling the golden coat of the Siberian Tiger. Like a copper sun in a winter sky the tiger moved gracefully across the virgin landscape. Black stripes expanded and retracted against powerful muscles as the tiger pushed forward following tracks, which cut through the undergrowth like glistening rivulets on the forest floor. A blanket of snow enveloped the trees, cloaking their skeletal frames with winter. A cruel wind howled relentlessly, carrying upon its breath the scent of wild boar. The Siberian tiger continued on its quest, the pangs of hunger driving it futher away from its territory.
